Fitz reminds me so much of Marc Bergevin ;
Wasted prime Subban , Price , Pacioretty
Drafted very poorly, no clear vision , way too patient with it’s core
Make a change and make it count cause Hischier , Hughes, Bratt, Meier arent Young for ever
The definition of insanity
Tom is not the GM for this stage of the organization. He was fine for awhile but he’s an awful negotiator with his Opra NMCs and can’t put together a playoff team.
Just another reminder for those that can’t think past a week earlier:
The Devils were in 1st in the east and neck and neck with Colorado for two months to start the year until they became one of the most injured teams in the league. Stop convincing yourselves this roster is terrible. You just prove your own ignorance about hockey.

This guy has gone under the radar for too long. Not sure he even had proper scouting experience other than coaching. Gotta go immediately

Clearly the worst GM in the NHL
If ownership allows him to run another draft/free agency you can schedule us for another season of wasting Jack and Nico’s prime
Possibly an unpopular opinion, but the devil’s drafting has actually been pretty good.
The issue is the first round where Fitzgerald definitely does not listen to his advisors and clearly goes off board for players.
No analytics guy worth his salt would’ve suggested Stillman, or Holtz.
