The Italians have Mama’d their last Mia.
Fun while it lasted.
USA vs. Venezuela Round 2!
Between the Armani suits, the espresso shots in the dugout following home runs, “Time to Say Goodbye” as their victory song and the approximately 10 billion references to The Sopranos that they’ve enabled, Italy is one of my favorite national teams of all time in any spot. They’ve been incredibly fun to watch.
Godly showing by Venezuela’s pen in the knockouts. Special run from Italy. Hoping for a classic in the final
My only rooting interest is “whichever outcome is less likely to cause an international incident”
So ends the miracle run of the Italy Dodgers of New Jersey
WBC transcending the sport
Incredible game
Italy drinks the espresso, but Venezuela grows the beans
Lorenzen was in too long….oof
The team of destiny has been eliminated, hell of a run from Italy.

Bottom 9 of a 4-2 game.
“Hitting a home run does nothing, but a base hit brings the tying run to the plate”
Masterful announcing right there.
The venezuelan bullpen had no time for nonsense.
Lights out.
This is the best sporting event ever
USA vs. Venezuela
how fitting
Smoltz just talking straight gibberish
I just saw a guy drop to his knees in an Olive Garden
❌ espresso
✅ cafecito
The team that beat Italy versus the team that beat the Dominican Republic
Cervelli looked happy to just be taking this in
I know I seem pedantic but I genuinely don’t understand why so many are pretending this is an unexpected final or a Cinderella Story.
Venezuela was the fourth team with the highest odds to win the WBC and has always been a baseball powerhouse.
Ronnie wiping away tears in his interview with bow tie. I love this guy
Damn the Italian’s linsanity run finally ends
The difference for DR and Venezuela between this game and yesterdays’s was one clutch inning where they were able to string together hits. Something DR couldn’t manage to do
Amazing game. Italy, your Cinderella run will not be forgotten.
Venezuela’s bullpen is actually insane
This is the best baseball I’ve ever watched in 36 years of life. These teams are so fucking good. I love it.
Props to Cervelli and his team. Incredible run and a joy to watch
What an odd question by Jeter. Royals fans catching strays.
