  1. Wow, went from expecting to undergo surgery to flying to NY and having undergone it in like an hour. Neat.

  2. Wow if the leafs by some
Absolute miracle made the finals he might actually be able to participate in them

Hope he makes a full recovery

  3. If you look up a grade 3 MCL injury it’s completely torn. This was expected from the beginning whether they announced it or not

  4. Wait what does recovery time mean? Like would he be playing NHL games in 3 months or starting rehab then? Cause 3 months seems insanely fast.

  5. This management group constantly trying to hide/minimize information on player injuries is so incredibly ridiculous. Can we just rid ourselves of Treliving? Pelley better pull out his fav pair of colourful frames this summer and get down to business bc he has a ton of work to do.

  6. The recovery time is consistent with typical MCL surgeries. He’ll be back skating by shortly after the Cup finals.

  7. “Our update is that our original communication is still correct and AM34 will miss the remainder of the season.” Thx leafs pr.

  8. First reports said no surgery, 4-6 weeks off. Now there’s surgery and the timeline just doubled.. Meaning he won’t be on the ice until june-july?

He won’t be spending the summer looking himself in the mirror and getting in his best shape ever. He’ll be rehabing his knee and trying to catch up. This makes next season even darker…

  9. This looks really bad on Parros now. “It’s only a scratch” (Monty Python)

  10. so that means he’ll be ready just in time for the finals…. i’m not mad at this

  11. So the 2 weeks was probably to give his knee a rest, so they can figure out how to approach the surgery once the inflammation died down

  12. Wish I could receive this kind of medical attention. Asked to get an MRI for my knee pain I’ve been dealing with the past few years and the wait time is 11 months smh

  13. Well on the bright side, this doesn’t completely mess up his offseason so there’s that.
