WTA Miami is one of the premier events of the year outside of the Major calendar. The WTA 1000 event is usually packed to the brim with talent, and the tournament lasts 12 days. The second round has some surprisingly great matches all over the card. LWOS is here with our best bets for some select matches. Let us know if you agree with our picks in the comments.
WTA Miami
Kalinskaya – Zakharova: Time 06:00
H2H: 0-0
Anna Kalinskaya plays Anastasia Zakharova for the first time. Of the two Russians, Zakharova is three years younger and is definitely on the rise. Kalinskaya only has 29 more career wins than Zakharova, but she has 40 more losses. This is Zakharova’s first time playing at WTA Miami. Kalinskaya has played every year since 2021 while never making it past the round of 16.
Best Bet to Make
Neither lady has been all that impressive in 2026. They have two quarterfinal appearances between them, one apiece. The rest of their appearances were early exits. Despite all of that, Kalinskaya finds herself a pretty solid favorite. She is a 3-1.3 favorite on average with the books. The way to make money with this match is by betting on Kalinskaya 2:0 at 2.0 on Coral.
That being said, Kalinskaya winning 2:0 is a value bet for sure.
Value bet/the best odds: Kalinskaya winning 2:0 @2.0 @Coral
Shnaider – Valentova: Time 06:00
H2H: 0-0
Diana Shnaider will play Tereza Valentova for the first time in her career. The young Valentova is coming off a phenomenal 2025, with four tournament titles, including two at the WTA level. That comes after winning five the previous year. Much is expected from Valentova in the future, but Shnaider is expected to win now. She only won a single tournament last year after winning five WTA titles in a single year during 2024, and ten between 2022-25. Shnaider only has one semifinal this year.

Best Bet to Make
The books largely see this match as a push. Shnaider is a slight favorite in the majority of the books. You can grab her as the underdog for 1.97 on Betfair, but that’s the only book with Shnaider as the underdog. The total average is about .04-points between the two of them. I think Valentova at 1.98 is the smart bet. She’s playing well enough to win, and Shnaider just isn’t playing well this year so far.
That being said, Valentova winning is a value bet for sure.
Value bet/the best odds: Valentova winning @1.98 @1xBet
Noskova – Cirstea: Time 06:00
H2H: 2-1
Linda Noskova and Sorana-Mihaela Cirstea will lock horns for the fourth time in their careers. Noskova is currently ahead in the rivalry 2-1, and this will be the third meeting between them in 2026. Noskova took their last match, a third-rounder, at WTA Indian Wells less than two weeks ago. Cirstea won their second-round WTA Dubai match in straight sets.
Best Bet to Make
The books have Noskova as a favorite by about .4 points, on average. I actually like Cirstea in this match, as she has one title this year and sits at 15-4 overall. Noskova is 9-5 without a single title. Her play doesn’t match her World ranking, and she’s going to find herself dropping if she can’t put together some kind of form. I like Cirstea straight up for 2.17 on Pinnacle.
That being said, Cirstea winning is a value bet for sure.
