A beloved mini golf course is making a comeback with a new name, Putts-N-Pints, and a fresh look.

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – A beloved mini golf course is making a comeback with a new name, Putts-N-Pints, and a fresh look.

The team behind Brew Lab 101 in Rio Rancho is spearheading this new venture. They are seeking local businesses to join as sponsors, with Big Brother’s Bricks already on board.

Brew Lab 101 CEO Scott Salvas shared what visitors can expect at Putts-N-Pints.

“We’ve had a lot of feedback, ‘Don’t change it, don’t change it.’ Well, we need to modernize it,” said Salvas. “It needs to be brought up to what modern patrons expect, but we are going to keep all the things that are classic.”

Salvas emphasized that while they aim to maintain the course’s charm, improvements are planned.

“We’re going to freshen it up, it’s going to get some paint, it’s going to get new turf, but the animals are going to stay,” said Salvas. “Everyone asks me, ‘Are the animals going to stay?’ Of course they have to stay!”

New features will include a retro arcade, a virtual golf bay, an enhanced party room, and food and drink options.
