The Dodgers enter 2026 at the top of the Pitching Staff Power Rankings

  1. Despite their league-leading staff last year, MLB.com definitely knocks on the Rangers for their home/road splits and their inability to miss bats.

And I say this as a realist Rangers fan.

  2. i know the brewers pull ace pitchers out of thin air but who even is in their starting staff other than the miz

  3. Los Angeles Dodgers at #1 is expected….but this list is gonna be chaos by mid-season

  4. They’re babying the pirates too much. Like one man is gonna carry them to the playoffs. NL version of Ohtani in Anaheim

  5. Glad to see a spunky little upstart team like the Dodgers being at the top of the list this year. It’s good for baseball!

  6. I feel like Boston should be above Seattle. Their rotation has more top end talent and is deeper with some great prospects on the way. As for bullpen, Seattle might be deeper but Boston still has Chapman and Whitlock which is pretty elite.

I’d say Crochet> Woo> Gilbert> Suarez> Gray > Kirby > Bello > Miller. But Im not an expert on either rotation. It’s just that Crochet is so excellent. He was honestly a lot closer to Skubal last year than people realize, especially bc he pitches in a hitters park in a stacked division.

  7. Did the Mariners add a bunch of good pitchers? Last year they were 18th in ERA- and FIP-

  8. i’m obviously biased, but you could easily put the Sox at #1 here. Can do a lot worse than Crochet-Gray-Bello-Oviedo(?)-Suarez, especially with Tolle and Early waiting in the wings.

  9. I would definitely take Boston over Seattle. For just regular season value, I think Boston should be #1

  10. Having a largely young and unproven rotation and having just traded our ace but still cracking the top 10 is such a flex

  11. The team with the best overall ERA last season not even making top 10 smh

  12. I know our offense was so ass it made us irrelevant but I think our pitching staff is at least top ten…

  13. Brewers at 8 after trading Freddy is kinda wild. It’s certainly possible but might be a little high to start the season.

  14. The Reds had the second best starters ERA last year, have Rhett Lowder and Brandon Williamson back, and have a whole season of Chase Burns

  15. I actually think it’s crazy the Phillies are so high. With Zack wheeler out and ranger gone, that leaves Sanchez and luzardo. Then there’s streaky Nola, taijuan walker and Andrew painter, who has yet to debut.

    Idk man

  16. A healthy Blue Jays rotation should bump them a spot or two higher…

Gausman, Cease, Bieber, Yesavage, Berríos/Sherzer is nothing to sneeze at.

  17. Our pitching received major upgrades and was going band for band with the mariners and dodgers but we’re rated 9….

  18. Dodgers have so many arms that they may not pitch Kike much. They will bring up River Ryan, and still have Gavin Stone, Casparius, Sheehan, Wrobleski, pitching in mid year when they shelf Yama, Shohei, Glasnow, Snell and Roki.

  19. The Mets were genuinely the worst staff in baseball after the break last year. Not sure adding Peralta suddenly makes them Top 10 until proven otherwise.
