The biggest Kraken fan in our home passed away unexpected right after Fridays game. Scooter loved watching hockey and would bark at goalies and dance in circles when the boys scored goals. He would get so excited every time we put jerseys on (ours and his kraken bandanna) and flip over to the game. Todays game is going to be the first time watching hockey from the couch without him in 4 years. My wife and I are devastated and crying at the thought of watching without him, but of course it would dishonor his memory to skip a game.
Please hoist the colors for Scooter today. The Goodest Good Boy in Kraken Nation. We miss you so much.

Sorry to hear brother, sounds like good memories to last a life time
Sorry for your loss buddy, hopefully he can get us a little pick luck for the last stretch of the season.
I’m so sorry. It’s always heartbreaking when your best buddy leaves you. You gave him a good life, he could not have been more happy. Take solace in that thought.
He looks like he was a truly *awesome* boy. Pooches like him make such a big impact in our lives, don’t they? I guess the one consolation (in a moment like this) is that all those moments watching hockey, dancing around, and going for walks/playing together will be with you *always*.
RIP Scooter
I’m so sorry you had to say goodbye to your Scooter.
FOR SCOOTER!!!
STICK TAPS FOR ONE OF THE GOODEST OF GOOD BOYS, EVERYBODY!!
Condolences friend. I had to say a last goodbye to my little calico of 16 years about 14 months ago now and it still hurts.
Let’s get a W for Scooter boys💪♥️
Every time we would win a game we did our own fish toss for him. We keep a bag of frozen icelandic herring in the freezer, and toss one up for him to snatch out of the air. They were the special treat kept just for W celebrations.
He would also get a little maro bone treat for each goal (even if the goal got pulled back because of course he still gets a lil treat) and for any fight where gloves get thrown.
So… Of course we taught him to love hockey… But even on nights where we were working late and couldnt join the game for puck drop, he would still be there in front of the TV watching the action on the ice.
He was the best hockey buddy. He made games better. I literally broke down crying after Dunns goal in the first because Scooter wasnt here to count the goal with us.
Ia! Ia! Ia Kraken! Ia Scooter! Ia! Ia!
