  1. Honestly I feel Metellus regressed last year. He's going to have to step it up this year. The good thing about Metellus is that he's available but he's not making enough plays on the ball. In the draft we need to find a ball hawk at S this year. Also, adding depth on the D-line in this draft would be a plus it would help the DBs a ton. We need animals beside Redmond. I also wouldn't mind bringing Harrison Phillips back in onna vet min. If Jets get cut him

  2. When you think about it, we need to cut 8 of these players to get down to the 53 players we start the season with. And anyone else we add will require someone else to be cut.

  3. Considering how our CBs struggled in man coverage last season, it wouldn’t be a bad idea to add two early—one as an immediate starter, and another to rotate with Isaiah Rodgers or Murphy Jr. to create competition.

At the same time, while Jalen Redmond recorded 6 sacks, his pass rush win rate (around 6%) and TPS (around 9%) suggest he might not be a reliable long-term starter and could see some regression. Because of that, targeting a high pass rush win rate NT like Georgia’s Christen Miller, along with another 3-tech DT in the late Day 2 to early Day 3 range, could help strengthen the defensive line as well

  4. Excellent analysis Andy! I totally agree with those priorities.👍FWIW, I have to say that I am a bit confused, because I thought the Vikes had freed up a lot more cap space than 9 million. Will extensions for Addison, Cashman & one or two others make create more? 🤔 When I look at the roster, the two non-negotiable needs are a really talented & physical Centre, and a mountain of a NT to plug up the middle against the run. With Redmond able to get quick penetration, he will provide some much-needed pressure in the face of QBs, plus help bust up run plays, counters, pulling guards, etc.. So, if TID & LDR can hold their own, the D line should be fine. 🤔 My other area of concern is at Safety. There is no-one at the back who I consider a true difference-maker/star/game-changer (Metellus is smart & good, but he's more of a LB than Safety..), so, IMHO, the Vikes' first 3 picks should be S, NT, then C. (..given the way things are likely to transpire, that likely the order the Vikes will have to get it done) Finally, if they can add WR, DL & RB depth on Day 3, that would be nice, although I'd love Brzezinski to package some of those picks to get one more pick in the top 100. *SKOL!!!*.

  5. I see all the talk. But Safety is by far the most important player we need to hit on ! D line is deep and young, LBs good DBs probably need better depth. But Safety in a Flores Defense is critical. A young fast version of HITMAN would be impactful. Jackson ain’t Him! Josh well it’s hard to say, since he was injured earlier in the season and tried to play.

  6. I like the fact that Rob expertise is the Cap because he understands value with contracts and will never have us suffering financially…i fully believe he is putting his all into draft day
