   Mister Rogers HATES eating money. He does NOT want to fire HC Berube with two contract years still to be paid.

   Berube wants out. If he quits, he doesn't get paid.

   This is Berube forcing Mister Rogers to eat the money and fire the HC.

   Berube has been doing this for a while.

   All the crazy HC decisions can be explained as a HC trying to get himself fired.

Just a theory, but when Betube was hired they had probably had many conversations about how Babcock had frigged with their heads and how Keefes tenure ended very badly and against his nature he didn't want to repeat those mistakes. Or he figured out the team and their weaknesses and just was without many avenues to get them to play as a unit with pride.
    I feel the big change that negatively effected this team was peeling the C off of Tavares sweater, almost like putting the failure all on him, and the teams future success all on Matthews. Don't worry about it Sammy, it's just LeaFland!

But guys you're talking out of both sides of your mouth , you seemed upset that Stolarz went to to hospital and didn't just shake it off and play yet you want Knies to sit down . Bottom line what's it matter in a lost season . I totally agree they should bring up a bunch of Marlies , I know these are meaningless games so not perfect test but it would give you some indication on what you have on the farm .
