The new burgundy jersey should be a variation of this and be called the “Lombardis” to go with the “Super Bowl Era” whites

5. While you are right, they did play for Lombardi with the spear helmets in 1969, Lombardi designed (or had someone design) the Yellow “R” helmets as their replacement. Unfortunately he passed away before he could see them worn in 1970.

   So to me, calling a uniform combo the “Lombardis” I associate that much more with the 75th Anniversary/Yellow helmets.

8. I doubt they’re gonna have two distinct uniforms as primaries, th burgundy jersey will almost certainly just be a burgundy version of the “SB era” jerseys. with all the teasing though I do expect a spear helmet alternate at some point in the future.

9. Eh those sleeve are kind of an eye sore. The helmet design is great but those sleeves don’t match the esthetic we have. It should just be a burgundy version of the super bowl era jersey

12. I can’t stand the Cowboys, but I do find it amusing that their away and home jerseys are so different. It would be nice to have this as the alternate jersey if we’re forced to wear color due to the opponent wearing white.
