  1. Said it before but love you Lavonte and thank you for retrining a Buc.

Hopefully he’ll still be connected to the organization in some way.

  2. Another career Bucs legend that joined Selmon, Brooks, Barber, and Alstott

  3. Gonna miss seeing lavonte flying around on the field but congratulations on a well deserved retirement and hopefully he can come back as a coach for the bucs

  4. You deserve it king. Thank you for being the heart and soul of our team and setting the example for culture you will be missed

  5. Rename Malfunction Junction the Lavonte David Interchange since they both stop everything in their tracks.

  6. Never thought we’d see anyone near Brooks’ caliber again.. then Lavonte happened. Legend.

  7. Yeah I’m not watching this season. I’ve never hated a coach more than Bowles in my entire life. And my two favorite players of my life both left because of Todd. Fuck this team and fuck the glazers. It’s gonna be a redzone year for me

  8. One of the best to ever do it in Red and Pewter. He is a Hall of Famer and should be in Canton one day. We always appreciate you Lavonte and super happy you got to be a Super Bowl Champ.

Losing Mike and David in one offseason hurts 😔

  9. What a privilege to watch 55 and 54 in my lifetime. Thanks for everything, LVD.

  10. Legendary Lavonte thanks for all the great memories even during the losing seasons and especially for the great ones! Bucs legend and glad he played his entire career here and truly hope he gets recognized as a Hall of Famer sometime.

  11. Were gonna suck so bad next. Thanks glazers. Thanks todd.

At the very least ill be able to spread out and lounge in a dead and empty ray jay. Kinda miss the no traffic, no lines, and no hope.

  12. Don’t be sad it’s over, be grateful you were here to watch it.  What an amazing pick LVD ended up being

  13. Retired a Buc…good for him, he is a fan favorite, and one of mine. Maybe it’s just my birthday that’s coming up but I’m feeling old. I feel like these players that are retiring now I remember the rookie years. I remember the draft I remember watching them grow and develop and now they’re retiring. I want to retire too. Not as a Bucs fan, but in general. 🤣

  14. Every bit of bad news we get adds a power up multiplier to the “We kept Bowles for this” chants like a kaioken

  15. Been a fan since the late 90s and have been through some tough periods. Guys like Lavonte helped make it bearable and I’m so glad he got a ring with us. As soon as I was in a spot to afford the Elite jerseys, I didn’t hesitate to choose 54 as my first. Always and forever a Buccaneer. Hope to still see him around imparting knowledge to the younger players.

  16. Possibly the most underrated and under-awarded player of all time. Absolutely a HOF worthy player.
