  1. Honestly we should've tied, we got screwed by that 4th goal that shouldve been icing. Lets get at it on Thursday and keep our heads up its not over yet

  2. here are 2 things that have irked me all season about the isles. on the power play, this play where a defenseman (usually schaef) way back in his D zone, leaves the puck for a speedster (usually bazal) to fly up to the O blue line while the other 4 skaters stand on the blue line. 4 times on 1 PP that was a fail last night. there is only 1 person with any speed hitting the O zone. the opposition always gets the puck and the entry is dead. COME UP TO THE BLUE LINE WITH 3 FORWARDS SKATING AND PASS OR DUMP DEPENDING ON WHAT'S AVAILABLE. then you either get in on the carry or have some speed to get in and fore check. you can't dump without speed!!! there's always a defender waiting at his goal line to get the puck and clear. the other thing is on an opponents rush up the ice. THERE IS NO CONTENTION OF THE SKATER CARRYING THE PUCK. the gap is 6' to 10' or everyone is just standing between the centerline and their own blue line. they are basically telling the opposition "go ahead and make a play, we trust our goalie". it's like rope-a-dope. they must love absorbing punches and playing for the counter punch. they are very good at the counter punch but you don't always get to make one. this is the nhl. players can make plays more often you can counter punch. that's my rant
