Each Team’s Percentage of Drives Resulting in an Offensive Score (2025 Regular Season)

  1. I’m going to go out on a limb and say that a decent part of this was JT. And I’ve been in other r/nfl threads where the shtick still seems to be anti-pay towards RBs because they’re devalued and all that.

The reality? If you can pay one of the top scorers in the NFL $15-20m per year to score 10-15TDs… I’d damn near want 2 of em on my team if I could find em. Especially when your top WR scores 10-15TDs and runs $40M.

Honestly for this team, I’d really like to see another good back behind JT. Someone we can lean on for 10 touches a game while resting JT. Avoid wearing him out, still have quality touches behind him, etc. Abdullah was nice, but I would not at all mind a decent draftee. Maybe Giddens steps up, but if not, we need someone back there that is dependable.

  2. We were top 6 in scoring in every quarter (as high as 3rd in the 1st) except in the 4th where we’re 23rd. The problem is closing. The offense is fine early game but it’s extremely predictable and our QBs did a bad job managing games and finding ways to score late when it matters

  3. The problem is our defense allowed 75% of other teams drives to result in a score haha

  4. We only broke 20 points in like 3 of the last 9 games. Offense dried up eventually. JT looked tired after that Falcons game and obviously all the QB issues.

  5. If only this translated into wins. But the percentage of passes caught over the middle of our defense was 99% and our secondary consisting of practice squad/receivers gave our offense plenty of chances to score so atleast they took advantage of the situation.

  6. Yeah I am not happy with how the season ended but this just brought back the feeling I felt in the first half of the season when the offense was a fucking buzzsaw. Man I hope we can expierence that again

  7. The fact they were still 1st despite being terrible the end of the season just shows how unsustainable the first 8 games were. Yet that’s exactly what ownership and the GM is pinning their hopes on.

  8. Yeah, the Colts were world beaters early in the season when there was no pressure and no one expected them to win.

  9. This is an incredible stat, but also one that needs context. This stat is probably bloated by the first half of our season. For example, when we needed just one score in the Chiefs game, we went 3andout several times.

Also, I’d like to see this adjusted for touchdowns vs field goals. Scoring is fine but touchdowns will really paint a better picture.
