  4. I don't think these guys realize how big of a joke minneapolis is to the rest of the county. I know the nfl is extremely liberal but i dont even think they will award the draft to what has become america's worst major city.

  11. 12:57 Judd’s got his first class ticket back to the scrap heap!! Woohoo, back to the safety of the playoffs every other year and a first round exit we go! Franchise QBs be damned, Minnesotans don’t need to have patience or time to let anyone develop, we are super busy counting all the division titles and Lombardi trophies that these retread QBs have won us the past 40 years

  21. Carson Wentz coming in has nothing to do with McCarthy. Wentz is not being brought in to compete for QB1. He's there to set a floor for QB2 and maybe be competition for Max Brosmer.

    McCarthy is competing for QB1 and at the very least has to look like a plausible competitor for QB1 in 2027. There's no world where they just make him a longterm backup for the Vikings.

    That's why Wentz has nothing to do with McCarthy – they're not playing for the same role. You might as well talk about how Carson Wentz coming in reflects on Donovan Jackson.

  23. Let’s put some real skin in the game vs the engagement farming takes. I would bet a big donation to the winners charity. Afraid? I bet JJ will be ahead of Wentz on the depth chart to start the season if both healthy. You game?

  26. Either way, chances of Wentz “sitting on the bench all season” is extremely high, If Murray stays hot and healthy or McCarthy beats him out. Most likely scenario is the Vikings said Okay Carson and JJ you guys duke it out for number 2. Doesn’t mean Wentz is automatically the first backup. At all. Wentz it’s probably betting on himself and thinks he can beat out McCarthy. They need as much insurance as they can get. $3Mill he will absolutely take that. Plus, I’m sick of this. Haha. I just want the season to start already

  28. write this down…RB we draft this year will be either N.Singleton or M.Washington Jr…WR will be T.Hurst or B.Lance…TE will be E.Stowers or M.Trigg…C will be J.Slaughter or L.Jones…we trade back in 1st Rd… unless Love/Lemon or Downs falls to 18…we wait on S till day three and we absolutely strike gold and steal B.Clark from TCU and he makes at least 10 starts THIS season…

  31. I don't understand how everyone thinks Mccarthy is QB3 honestly. Wenz was literally his backup last year and he ended the season on a 4 game winning streak

  37. Maybe it’s not as much about McCarthy. Maybe it’s more about the QB room disaster we experienced last year AND a prior year; meaning the Wilfs don’t want anymore excuses about not having a playable QB ready for a game. Also, we did get eliminated from contention VERY early in the season. I’m sure the Wilfs, who are ALWAYS concerned about being competitive, didn’t appreciate that.

  38. Sorry Judd – I know you’re not a JJ fan, but I think JJ is a strong contender to start. Murray will be gone after this year unless he lights it up under a complicated KOC offense. Wentz is a back up to JJ.

  39. Wishing for McCarthy to get better and become a QB1 is an analogy with you believing the woman who dumped you will realize her mistake and come back to you! It just ain't going to happen so just drop the dead donkey!!
