Vince Carter’s 2001 Miss Led to This Game Winner 13 Years Later | Cousins
After missing a potential game winner in the Toronto Raptors vs Philadelphia Sixers 2001 playoffs, Vince Carter carried that moment with him.
In 2014, Dallas Mavericks vs the San Antonio Spurs, he got another chance and made it count.

So happy for you bro!!! I wish it went in against philly!!!! Yes im from toronto!!! It was that same headfake!!!! Big up VC the legend that inspired me to play basketball as a young kid in toronto you saved many lives in the city as many of us decided to play basketball vs getting caught up in the streets. You were a father to the fatherless in Tdot!!! Never forget that Vince!!!! Your impact was greater than basketball im happy to see this podcast, big up Mcgrady you both will always be legends to the game and your contribution will never be forgetten!!!!!!!!!!
These two guys together is just….. a great fit. Glad for these guys.
I remember him missing the shot in 2001 and I thought 'this must have something to do with UNC graduation'
Vince should have had more offense run for him that year. Mavs almost upset the eventual champs in that first round and Vince was probably the biggest problem for the Spurs
Spurs fan – not even mad about VC getting that one. Legend of the sport and deserves all the flowers.
