OC Press Taylor talked about how good of a coach Antwaan Randle El is and how his leadership is really important especially considering that vets DJ Moore and Olamide Zaccheaus aren't on the team anymore.

Seems like Jahdea Walker is someone they trust to get better and therefore earn more playing time which i thought was great to hear!

He also mentioned Rome Odunze: "Rome is still a very young player in this league and (him) getting healthy (and) progressing in the system."

and Kalif Raymond: "Kalif will come in with some knowledge of the system as it was built with Ben and (…) Antwaan in Detroit."

No groundbreaking news, just wanted to share it! He also talks about Bradbury, the center position in general and Caleb Williams!

  1. I expect him to become a top10 WR in the league

    And I’m being conservative

The fact he was 5th in yards per route run on his rookie year

    As long he is healthy

  2. Hell yeah, love to see Jahdae get his shot!! Dude is a beast – RAS was 9.47, just never had chances to shine at A&M.

    4.43 40-yard dash, a 1.48 10-yard split, and 9.51 3-cone at 6’2″.

  3. The way they talked about Jahdae late last year got me very excited, it really sounds like they trust him to contribute.

I don’t expect him to be a record-setter by any stretch but if he can be a solid roational guy or even a real number 3 option that’d be huge for this offense

  4. I have no problem going into next season with Walker as WR3. He proved himself in the biggest moments when it mattered most as an undrafted rookie. Keep seeing what he can do

  5. I still hope they add a 4.3 burner somehow. It opens up every O, especially when your QB has a cannon.

Khalif was 4.34 11 yrs ago, so IDK if he cuts it.

  6. I don’t claim to know ball that well, but whenever I watch burden I just feel like im watching a ja’marr chase or Justin Jefferson type. I truly think he could be a top wide receiver in the league, and if walker could be a solid wr3 that would be great for a UFA.

  7. If Rome can you know… not drop 20% of his targets this offense is cooking with gas… need Rome to lock in

  8. When they traded DJ I saw so many people talking about draft a WR in like in the first 3-4 rounds. Maybe they will but I always thought Jahdae showed great upside with limited reps. Rome, LB, Jah, Loveland, KMet, Swift really leaves you not having to draft as high for a WR. I’d rather them sign a vet with good hands who just wants to play still who can be a mentor but not expect WR1 or even 3 level targets.

  9. I think they’re honestly picturing Walker as a potential WR4. Personally, I still believe we’re going to sign another veteran to stand in as a WR4 but giving Walker the chance to supplant them.

Someone like a Zay Jones, or Sterling Sheperd.

  10. They seem to be willing to go into the season with Walker as Rome’s backup and Raymond as Luther’s.  Who would play as W3 would depend on matchups and whether they need an outside or slot receiver.   Whoever is playing as WR3 is going to be running a lot of clearing routes.  An undrafted WR who never had high volume targets even in college seems like someone that would approach that with a positive attitude.

Get one more WR at some point in the draft, whether that turns out to be an outside speedster or more of a slot receiver probably dictates what kind of veteran WR gets signed to fill out the 6 WRs on the 53.

  11. If Jahdae puts in the work, he could be a solid WR3. Obvious that Rome and Burden hold up their end for the WR1 and WR2 spots. We draft a late round WR or undrafted and get additional solid depth.
