I really like Kadyn Proctor at LT. 6'7 352lbs. What's key…he ONLY played LT at Bama. All 3 years he never played any other position, even ONCE. I read at PFF. I think this was to watch good talent for the 3rd-7th rounds. No one went to Iowa's pro day either.

I’m not especially interested in any of those guys unless they fall. If Proctor felt to 25 and some of the other guys they want aren’t there I could see possibly going for him he’s probably the only one.

This may sound absurd. Is it possible that the Bears draft Proctor and he's their LT of the future while moving Trapilo to his natural position of RT in 2027. Moving on from Darnell Wright? We haven't seen a commitment to a new contract for Wright, yet. They haven't even picked up his 5th year option. It'd save them salary in 2027 & beyond, and I'd imagine they could get a good return in a trade for Wright after 2026.
for the Chicago Bears to draft a tackle, or any offensive player in the first round this year, they would have to hit home runs in the second & third round on defensive picks. Let me reiterate, they MUST hit home runs in the second and third round – three pics in a row, for an offensive first round pick this year to be justified.
