  1. Arron Mosby could be a very good fit for Jonathan Gannon’s defense. While defensive ends in a 4-3 defense primarily rushes the passer, outside linebackers in a 3-4 defense sometimes are tasked with dropping into coverage and Arron Mosby has a history in fitting into that role. With the Green Bay Packers switching to a 3-4 base front, Arron Mosby will likely be listed as a linebacker for them moving forward. He also has experience as an off-ball linebacker because his body type and athleticism are perfectly suited for playing special teams. The Green Bay Packers desperately needed some bodies at the 3-4 outside linebacker position, since they only had Micah Parsons, Lukas Van Ness, Barryn Sorrell, Brenton Cox Jr. and Collin Oliver on the entire offseason roster before the Arron Mosby signing, since the team didn’t add a single player of their reserve-futures contracts. Last season, Arron Mosby became a vested veteran, meaning that if he makes the Week 1 roster this upcoming 2026-27 NFL season, his full season’s salary is fully guaranteed, which will be an important factor at the cutdown deadline. My guess is that the Green Bay Packers will try to sneak Arron Mosby on their practice squad, like they did last season, and then bring him up to their active roster as a special teams ace at some point mid-season when injuries start to stack up and roster spots start freeing up. Go Pack Go 💚💚💛💛🧀🧀
