Barkley is just salty over the way the Rockets screwed him over with the Pippen aquisition – for which I dont blame him. That's why he is engaging in this revisionist history. Does he really think he would have won 57 games with the Suns in 1997 and gone to the conference finals?

Rockets fan here, this is a tough one. I know he never cherished his time here but damn the '97 team lost in 6 in the WCF to the Jazz. For that one season alone I'd say it was a successful stint. They lost that game 6 on last second 3 to Stockton. Granted the next 3 seasons were pretty average to bad.

As much as I love Sir Charles, the Suns did right by trading him. He had a couple seasons left, so I don't blame the Suns trading him in order to rebuild the team.
