Remember the Orlando Magic Dancers? They used to encourage the fans and greet them at the door when they arrived for games. They would graciously allow you to take photos with them. And after games they occasionally would have autograph sessions down on the court.

But then all of a sudden, like magic, poof! they were gone. And quite ironically, it seems as though the fortunes of our beloved basketball team have vanished ever since their dismissal. Is This Anything?

  4. They were paid next to nothing, at least in the 90s and into the early 00s. My dad worked with one of them. She had a nine to five. The Magic gig was just some cash on the side.

  5. Yeah, now it’s the 407 Dance Crew, or did they get rid of that? I used to take my daughter to the Magic dance camp, that went the way of the Dodo bird after COVID
