[Highlight] The first ever MLB ABS challenge

  1. First ever ABS challenge in a season and we missed it for an interview that added nothing of value

  2. Great not like the history we would’ve wanted was the face of someone we don’t give a shit about. All cool.

  3. Why does baseball even do in-game interviews? All the other sports do them in between quarters or something like that

  4. This broadcast is sooooooo bad, but not nearly as bad as this strike zone is.

    Welcome back, baseball fans.

  5. It’s clear that the last thing Netflix wants to show on this broadcast is the baseball part.

  6. Why do the announcers have to be polite and not interrupt an interviewer? Cut their mic and show the historic thing that is happening. Every video package, mid-game interview, or whatever else should have the equivalent of a sneeze button, where they just end it and jump into a broadcast moment.

  7. Objectively annoying. Just show the goddamn game! But also “Bill Miller staying perfect” overlaid with him blowing an obvious ball is pure cinema.

  8. “staying perfect” right when strike 2 is called on the next pitch sure is something lol

  9. This production sucks

Btw the ump immediately called the next ball a strike…

  10. Every fucking inning an on field interview or bit instead of actually showing the fucking game!!

  11. Why cant they just show the game? Matt sounded so excited before hand about how the 1st one was going to be history and THEY BLEW IT

  12. Director is as dumb as bricks for this

Hope it’s not an experienced sports broadcast director cause that was a total rookie mistake lol

  13. Can we stop on field interviews during the game please. It adds nothing and actively takes away the immersion of the game.

  14. Commenting on every clip b/c posts are seemingly being moderated out:

Green screen ads look like shit.

  15. “staying perfect” as he calls a pitch a strike that is a full ball width inside is really funny

  16. Lol during a fucking asinine mid-inning interview , how perfectly shitty

  17. It’s literally the first game. We’ve had nothing but interviews for months. No one wants talking.

  18. They literally spent more time talking about who the new ABS system is **Powered By** than explaining how it was utilized in its inaugural deployment

  19. I hate national baseball broadcasts. They never shut the fuck up. It’s baseball on tv. I can see what’s happening. It doesn’t require constant banter from the broadcasters like radio does. It’s distracting and I hate it. Baseball on tv requires restraint, which is how most of the regional broadcasts are.
