9. Even if sthis game proves to be the exception rather than the rule, WHAT A GAME! What a great advertisement for the need to come out and cheer on the BABY BIRDS! Love the defense! LOVE, LOVE the clutch hitting, and the fan spirit in t. Louisa. It reminds me of my years in the area . grew up, born on the year (1946) they won a World Series; graduated high school for their next in in 1964. Yea, I was there in the 1970s, even going to a commutable game (NOT!) when I sat with one of my professors, and obnoxious Cub fan, as (in STL, the round multipurpose mistake). And the CU beat us, on a night there were more Cubs’ fans than I thought existed in the whole World, just there to rub it in when the Cubs beat us 12 to ZIp! Of times, the Cubs still did nothing that year, and soon, or it seemed soon, Herzog would arrive, and the good times would belong, especially with the early 1982 Series and others to follow. RECLAIM THAT GLORY< CARDINALS! I am a retired professor (Pepperdine), and my daughter’s married California body’s. If not for that, I would have fulfilled my dream: I would have course it a house or Condo in STL and get season tickets, making all the games possible. I love the Cardinals, but I love my children, my grand chhildren, so we stay. I am 80, and I would love to live long enough to witness the CARDS WIN ANOHER World Series. The Dodgers have to be owned by guys so rich that I fear the total net worth exceeds the millions…they paid back Otani’s salary in one year…whole whole salary. THE RICH, SPOILED KIDS OUT HERE HAVE TO WIN OR THEY NEVER HSWOW UP ….TO ANYTHING. I VIEW IT A FALSE FAN BASE…THERE ONLY IF THEY WIN. BUT THEY CAN BUY THERIR WAT TO ECLIPSING HE CARDS AS LEAGUE LEAFER IN TITLES IF WE DON’T WAKE UP SOON! GO CRDS!

I was stunned….When the Cardinals went down 7-1 in the sixth…I figured here we go again….That eight spot in the bottom of the inning….wth??…and we held the lead…ok…take a deep breath…maybe…just maybe…the Cardinals can do something they haven't done consistently in awhile…..WIN! But the season just started…I know…no more GM Mo and Mikolas….that is definitely a plus…
