Flames get sold back to Atlanta and my 35 years of misery finally come to an end. I begin cheering for the Avs. I sip some Chardonnay while smiling at the tv, realizing I’m finally free.
Fantasy scenario? Hard to argue with Vegas drops and both win draft lotteries giving flames 1&2.

The fantasy scenario has to involve a down 0-3 reverse sweep of the Oilers.
Vegas finishes with the 12th pick Calgary finished like 2nd pick we win the lottery and jump past Vancouver and then Vegas wins the second draw and jumps to 2nd so we pick 1-2 and Vancouver is forced to pick 3rd
If we get a Leaf and get a Stanley Cup with them like Lanny did in ’89, that would be a dream come true twicefold.
