  2. I’m willing to give Wings fans this one even though I think it was pretty even but I always want to rip my hair out when they say Osgood won his fight too. Hell no, Roy walloped him. Dropped like 5 or 6 bombs on him while all Osgood did was shove him into the ice.

I know this rivalry is dead and everything, but there’s still a very petty impulse buried deep in my soul that’s hoping that the Wings miss the postseason and claim the longest playoff drought in the league. It would be made even better if the Avs won the Cup and equalled their number of modern Cup wins.

  4. Those were some awesome times. Now Avs fans are like Detroit who? That was a RIVALRY.
