I like the size. I like the vision. Don’t love the efficiency or defense. I squint and I see Jordan Poole.
His skill set is the best of the guards we’re looking at. He has height, burst, perimeter and interior shooting, playmaking and everything you’d want from a PG.
His shot selection and decision making is the worst I’ve seen from a lead guard. Like genuinely horrible shot selection. He’ll take heat checks 30 feet out with 20 seconds on the shot clock when he’s 1-5 from 3.
His team does just as well without as well. They might have a higher ceiling but they have a lower floor as well.
Massive dlo and Jordan poole vibes. I’d be happy if we get him but boy am I worried.
Don’t like him nearly as much as the other guards (Peterson, Acuff, Flemings) but if we fall into 8-10, then he’s fine I guess
He played injured nearly all season, clearly messed with his rhythm, difficult to evaluate. He has true NBA range, flashed dynamic passing and scoring skills, has size and doesn’t look flat footed on defense. I personally think if his medicals come back clean I’d be fine taking him 6-7. Have Wagler ahead of him, Flemings 3pt shooting has me worried but would still pick him first, and Acuff is a defense sieve, I have a bias watching him.
I would not take a risk on someone who is already having back problems
I’m scared about his back but towards his end of his college season his shooting was great
I misread that as Junior-high level playmaker. Was like DAAAAMNNN who peed in your cheerios
Injury concerns aside, He’s easily my pick. Acuff 2nd. Flemings hasn’t shown me anything personally.
I’d take Burries if we fall that low tbh. Give me the safe higher floor pick at that point
I struggle to see why people say he’d be a better pro prospect than Acuff, he’s a shot chucker and turns the ball over much more. Yes he’s taller and a better defender but it feels like the same logic the Suns and Kings used to skip over Luka
what are his recent injuries?
He’s the best PG prospect in the draft hut he has back issues
Also this team is in desperate need of a 3pt bomber
I honestly hope we just pick wagler if we don’t move up in the draft
