Man, the ovation this guy is going to get every time he steps on the mound this season…
She’d already be proud, just like I think all of our fans are. This is one of the toughest things to happen to a family and both of them have shown strength to keep putting one foot in front of the other. Love that he mentioned talking to a professional about it too; I think it’s important for others to hear that these days
My heart goes out to the Vesias.

You already have, brother. 🫡
The crowd went wild for him yesterday, and you could see he was touched.
Damn, just give him the Cy Young right now 💪🫡
watching the Jays players rock the #51 practically had me shedding a couple tears. I’ve never been part of a fan base that so whole heartedly supported a player after tragedy like this…
Alex an excellent pitcher. And a better man, father and husband.
I was hoping he’d come in for an inning, strike out the side on 9 pitches and get a huge ovation as he came in the dugout.
him and kayla have navigated this loss so amazingly. my heart goes out to them.
my love for the vesia family knows no bounds. 💜
I love that he’s said they’re going to therapy to process it too. It’s such a complicated kind of grief and I wish it was more normalized for people to get the support they need after.
I am just glad he is getting all the support him and his wife need.
