32. I was stupid to say draft Thieneman first. Now I think shoring up the D line with our aging LBs by adding Kayden McDonald is the right move. Then, bring Emmett Johnson on and pick up Sabb from Alabama at Safety. Bryce Lance would be a huge addition to the WR squad.

34. As usual Patrick, you are neglecting one of the most important points, that the best ability is availability! JG snaps went down from 918 to 559, and so his inability to stay on the field last season isn’t going to warrant a top of the line contract, and at the end of the day all of the stats that you highlighted are important, but sacks is by far the most important and he had a huge drop off, on a top 5 defense. The Vikings are in a tough position as the two morons spent like drunken sailors last off season, and the money they could have paid JG is now paying players who have been sent packing after only 1 year with the Vikings or is tied up with players who are marginally productive or retired! They can’t give JG a new contract because they don’t have the cap space, and he would be less tradable making more than 22 million per year. Also, other teams aren’t going to trade for a disgruntled DE who wants more money. Prediction, is that he holds out!
