These are top ten to twelve hitter in baseball numbers already. After starting his career 5 for 44 he's batting .336 in his last 57 games. How crazy will this get?

  1. He’s great, but let’s slow it down a bit. That’s such a small sample size.

  2. I just want to see more hrs and doubles. High averages are cool and all but slug and OPS matter more

  3. I’m so excited. I feel like a lot of the time when pitchers “figure out” a batter, they expose his weaknesses of pitch selection/location. But he’s got such an elite eye already that they can’t really do much about that. What are they gonna do, either throw more in the strike zone to challenge him to swing, or throw more balls to increase walks but limit other damage.

  4. This is dependent on his ability to adjust as the scouting report on him grows but I legitimately believe he can match Nomar’s offense. Defense I think he will continue to be a very good fielder, idk about any gold gloves though.

My prediction is he finishes his career with over 80 WAR

  5. Not sure I’ve been this excited about a rookie since Mookie, and trying to keep my expectations in check for this year.

    So I will say:

    .352/.408/.570/.978
