  1. The time is here…the games count. 1) Rockies are already minus 5 (-5) in strikeouts hitting to whiffs recorded by pitchers.
    2) Two runs allowed in 2nd inning proves sufficient for Marlins. 3) In Rockies "good" (in part) inning, McCarthy gets thrown out
    at plate with no one out. Yes, bad enough, but even worse is Rockies announcers Goodman & Huson defending the decision to send him in that situation. 4) One-out walk to J. Beck, but of course, he's gunned down trying to steal 2nd on 1st pitch to next hitter. MLB should add the statistic of LBR (lost base runners). Rockies would likely be near the MLB top in this category. 5) On the brighter side, 1st game in the books with no HR's allowed. Rockies need plenty more of these. A tall order at Coors.

  2. I was at the game and I’m glad we won but man it was close till the 8th gg Rockies and throwing the runner at home with Slater was probably the reason why we won and the game didn’t go to extras imo. Go Fish.
