Barcelona are reportedly keen on signing Osasuna winger Victor Munoz this summer but consider it an “impossible signing” as Real Madrid own 50% of his rights and have a buy-back option.

A new report from Mundo Deportivo says that Barcelona have been monitoring Munoz throughout the season and like what they see.

Munoz was born in Barcelona and spent a few years in the academy before going on to Damm and then Real Madrid.

The winger then joined Osasuna last year as the club bought 50% of his rights. However, Real Madrid also have a buy-back option that lasts for three years, with fees of €8m, €9m, and €10 million.

Munoz’s current release clause is €40 million and MD say that Osasuna won’t let him go for anything less.

The Osasuna star has been impressing this season, winning La Liga’s Under-23 Player of the Month for March and receiving his first call-up to the Spain team.
