I've been A Tigers fan since I was a little boy, and now I'm 57 years old, but when they Won World Series in 1984 my parents moved to Los Angeles, California, and when they won we were the only kids in The Parking Lot outside Cheering.
Left handed hitters are built different. Studying Tony Gwynn was a great idea. Not too many better hitters than he was. Great win.

The Padres could have their own set of "McGonigles" to bring up from the minors, but AJ Preller has traded them all away. When the Friars get their new owner (in a month or so) hopefully that new owner will hire a decent GM who will stop trading away the Padres' entire farm system.
