Trying to gaslight everyone into forgetting that he’s the dumbass who hired Nico and sold to the Adelsons.

Its actually disgusting at this point hearing a rich fuck like Cuban making fun of someone for traveling financially like the average NBA fan.
He hired Nico, he sold the team, and he had his back after the trade. Don’t try to gaslight us like he wasn’t your boy Cuban 🙄
Cuban hired a shoe salesman against the recommendation of the consulting firm he paid to help find a new GM.
Cuban then sold to an ownership group that knew nothing about basketball and who’s only desire to buy the franchise was to build a Vegas style casino resort knowing that that might be hard to pull off in Texas. He also knew that these people were Trump mega donors who he is supposedly against. He supposedly had higher offers from other interested parties but he went with them. I think he went with them to get a cut of the casino. The whole thing about his kids being involved is bullshit. He wanted a cut of the dirty money.
He was dumb enough to get phased out and not have it in writing that he would still be running the team. He said the NBA would not allow that but it happened in Boston and LA. Was that a result of what happened with Cuban? I don’t know but I bet there was no rule against that.
He’s the first step in the travesty that occurred and put the first nail in the coffin for this franchise.
Cuban playing the role of Pontius Pilate as of lately, like he’s washing his hands clean of the infamous trade. Ha!
Nah, the root of the trade ultimately goes back to 150 IQ Cuban hiring Luka contrarians at high level positions like Haralololbob and Nico as well as stats dunces led by Jeremias Engleman who under Bob were trying to convince Cuban to sell on Luka constantly based on his stupid private rapm models for years and years. This is the same idiot who was working in ESPN in the early 10s and writing articles like ‘Does Kevin Durant actually make his team worse’ despite KD scoring like 31 PPG @ 69% TS adjusted to 2025 terms with a massive positive +/- and on/off – Jerry just found a way to concoct a customised advanced stats model just to shit on KD, the same way he did with Luka. He was trying to argue Franz Wagner is more impactful than Luka around 2024.
Cuban had the opposite of the yes man problem where to balance the positive environment for Luka, he had to constantly have a ‘respected executive’ who could keep him grounded on Luka and the respected executive obviously ensured the staff he hired fit into that POV. The second Cuban lost power, the snake who he cultivated (Nico) did everything necessary to eliminate him from the organisation.
Imagine GSW hiring and paying Steph agnostic high level execs and statisticians for years to be a ‘voice of reason’ lmao. That’s exactly what Cuban did.
