8. Gary Cohen has hardly changed at all. When you lose your hair early in life, the aging process is not as noticeable.

9. Especially with news of Howie retiring after this year, it reminds me to cherish every moment we have listening to these three. We’ve truly been spoiled as Mets fans with our broadcasters. When they hang it up, the broadcast will never ever be the same. They’re national treasures.

21. 2006 still seems like yesterday.

    Those games on MSG never really hit the spot but right away with SNY it felt like the Mets finally had something of their own to be proud of.

23. I’m so upset I’ll miss their opening day. My T-Mobile MLB.tv thing still isn’t working.

24. I’m not a Mets fan. But their broadcasts are great.

25. Remember when we had to listen to Fran Healey all the time? God help Howie during those years lol.
