  1. First two runs of the year from sacrifice flies (with Buck willing himself to third base on each occasion).

    Love that for us.

  2. Wallner not being on second needs to be addressed! That is a miss! We can’t afford misses like that. It turned out to be nothing with Jeffers whiffing on the curveball for the K, but Wallner should have been on 2nd base when Buxton tagged.

  3. As a little league catcher, I was terrified of the ball. That was a very relatable anecdote for me. I’m liking taj more with every minute.

  4. Well I suppose there’s still time for it to go bad but Taj has sure looked solid, aside from the high pitch count

  5. Sucks that he will turn it over to this bullpen early, but Taj was impressive today. No ground balls is a problem and will probably kill his efficiency moving forward (no easy double plays). He is certainly a major league starter though

  6. Iowa basketball in the elite eight for the first time since 1987.

Last time Iowa earned a Final Four spot one of the main TV guys for those teams was… Dick Bremer.

    Lot of good overlap today.

  7. Wait I thought Buxton was AL MVP? Now it’s Lewis?

Make up your mind, y’all. 😆

  8. he has an incredible LEADOFF EYE ladies and gentlemen though he doesn’t smash the middle middle 2-0 fastball right after

  9. 3 runs against Bradish is a huge win for this offense. Guy is a top 20 SP in the league if healthy.

  10. ABS challenge to get into a favorable count: Good

Watch a fastball right down the middle: Bad

Make weak contact on a breaking pitch at the bottom of the zone: Kody, buddy, what are we doing?
