Browns Rumors: Round 1 Trade Down Targets In 2026 NFL Draft

Cleveland Browns draft rumors continue to pile in ahead of the 2026 NFL Draft. Browns general manager Andrew Berry currently has pick numbers 6 and 24 in the 1st round of the upcoming NFL draft, and there are several Browns draft targets that could be available later than pick 6. Because of this, Browns Report host Joey O dives into Browns draft targets in the mid to late first round. Some Browns draft rumors have Cleveland potentially taking USC wide receiver Makai Lemon, Arizona State wide receiver Jordyn Tyson, or Georgia offensive tackle Monroe Freeling. Browns fans love Ohio State wide receiver Carnell Tate highlights, but it’s unlikely Tate slides past Browns and Saints in the top 10 of the NFL Draft.

Mel Kiper ESPN on Arizona State wide receiver Jordyn Tyson:
The talent. He is spectacular. When he is healthy, he can be a true #1 WR. Had he been healthy, he would’ve in play at pick #2. Certainly at 4. He would’ve been ahead of Carnell Tate and clearly the #1 WR in this draft. The durability concern pushes him down to this point.

  11. I always believe in trading down for multiple picks because of how many times players who no one thought were going to succeed turn out to be awesome so the more picks you have the more chances you have finding gold

    He the wr stud that the browns traded up to get a long time ago and in the few games he played he was awesome but he couldn't stay healthy so please if lemon and Tate r gone please do NOT draft Tyson
    Draft a tackle or a CB or if there is a stud edge after what the browns did when collins was healthy…

Simple draft nothing hard unless our guy is gone but at 6th Tate 24th either if there Denzel Boston or Cooper at 39th if there Lt Lomu if not Lt Caleb Tiernan or Rt Iheanachor 70th Logan Jones or Sam Heaht center and fill holes with the rest of the draft. We would have a good enough offense 2go with our already top5 defense and we will b making the playoffs for yrs 2come 4sure GO BROWNS
