I think the fast and athletic point guards that aren’t great shooters or defenders is a dying archetype because the modern game is extremely taxing on the body. Their effectiveness becomes limited after any injury that results in even marginal losses in speed and athleticism. Think DRose, Wall, Ja, and now Ivey who seems to be joining that group. Russ seems to be the only exception because he’s never had a major injury to his lower ligaments.

On the other hand, Huerter’s been integrating well into the team. Most Pistons fans weren’t a fan of the trade since we loved Ivey, but Huerter’s been playing much more (and much better) since Cade got injured.
It’s like what the idiom says “anything in excess is poison” and that includes religion. It’s looking like he’s gone full cult crazy at this point.
