  1. Here’s the problem. Why put your fastest guy on first when you’re going to let Bailey hit instead of giving someone else with a better chance to drive the ball? What is about Bailey that they keep sending him out there? As far as Bader think you overpaid for him. Matos the guy you let walk could strike out on high fastballs all day too but I think if you would’ve let him play on a more consistent basis he would’ve showed you he deserved to be a Giant

  2. One suggestion Tony, do not pitch to the 3x reigning AL MVP in a one a run game with a lefty on the mound and two left handed batters coming up after. Not complicated.

  3. These beat writers keep asking the same questions over and over as to suggest Tony to do what they want him to do.
But most of them never have played professional baseball nor have real deep inside knowledges of baseball…
It’s going to be fun watching Tony handling them as season moves on.

  4. So many whiners. Rather start 8-1 and finish at .500 again or would you want high 80's in wins and the playoffs with a slow start, letting the chemistry build after a number players were in the WBC and not at camp?
This team is going to hit. Pitchers always dominate at the start of a season. Case in point: Yankees batted .212 today as a team. .235 yesterday. I guess that means we have a dominant staff by some calculations of people on this thread. How 'bout them Dodgers? Lights out pitchers, those Diamondbacks – Dodgers with 6 hits today and 4 yesterday. They're in trouble!
Sheesh. Give it a month or two then harp all you want if they're sub .500. But until then…what Jeff Kent said.
