Joey Browner passed at age 65. Sad day. He was one of my favorites. Physical and intelligent player. Perennial Pro Bowler and All-Pro. Vikings Ring of Honor. Close to a Hall of Famer. Hall of Famer to me.

Oh, this is sad. My dad and I bonded watching him do gis one arm ninja tackles back in the day.
My favorite player of all time. Should be in the Hall of Fame.
Sometimes it seemed like there was 5 guys running around on the grid wearing number 47.
R.I.P. The BEST OPEN FIELD TACKLER IN THE HISTORY OF THE GAME HANDS DOWN!!! ALL-PRO SS (JOEY BROWNER) Should of been in the H.O.F. 15 YEARS AGO. What a shame!!!
I met Joey at 13 years old in 1986 at a restaurant he was opening up the street, He was super nice to me, I'll never forget that interaction with him. RIP Mr. Joey Browner 😢

One off the Best. You will be Missed. God Bless Joey's Family # 47
Rest easy, Joey, thanks for being the anchor of our secondary back in the day!
He was always in Ronnie Lott's shadow. I think he was as good or better than Lott, but Lott had the rings.
