  1. I remain hopeful, but this is disturbingly beginning to feel like previous seasons where the Pens frittered away winnable points only to miss the cut by a point or two.

  2. Since October 23rd I've been confident this team would make the playoffs. And at this point, there isn't a doubt in my mind. They've given the effort all season long and it's going to pay off.

  3. I’ll be in Long Island for this game tonight, I’m hoping it’s gonna be a good win for the black and gold tonight. The next two days of hockey against the isles and redwings might be the most important potential 4 points of the season. This is the make or break days of the season for us

  4. Hey DK…….I have to agree, something is up with the league. All too often the team loses or plays so bad and many of the fanbase jump on the refs to blame them, when the real issue was they never pushed the pace to draw a call. But what I have seen all year but especially since the Olympics has been horrible, it's like the NHL adopted the bad reffing from Europe! I've always been able to watch a game and be subjective, and if a Penguin does something or a call is missed I acknowledge it, I am far from biasis. I always believe it shouldn't matter who the player is or who the coach is, a game should be called to the blueprint of the rules no matter the team and this hasn't happened. It sure makes ya wonder what is happening, and what personal agenda is being implemented from the powers that be. The Karlsson no call the other night rivals the worst no call in the history of the game, Gretzky's high stick of Gilmore in front of the ref. It was the first time I realized the NHL was a business and needed one guy, and the market of LA, to win. That no call of a four minute penalty had Gretzky score a few minutes later and we all know how it blew the game up south of the border. It was great for marketing and growth of the game in the USA but that's not hockey.
With that all said, I sure hope the squad is full, to win the lines need to be the way they were, and I said this the other day, the hardest guy it seems to be to replace is Lizotte, he's the spark plug. Go get them Penguins, this is the game you wanted and need!
