Phoenix Suns Rookie Rasheer Fleming has been a sensation for the Phoenix Suns since the All-Star Break, blossoming into an unreal defender and consistent shooter from beyond the arc. Can he be the next Kawhi? PHNX Suns dives into his tantalizing potential, how he has already made a name for himself among rookies, and how his confidence could be his secret weapon.

  1. Been saying this. Fleming reminds me of young Kawhi on the Spurs. Hopefully he can develop into what Kawhi is now obviously without the injuries

  2. If not kawhi, could be a Pascal siakim type power forward.

Maluach will be good in about two seasons as well. Think a more fluid Rudy Robert with offensive touch.

Brea needs more time to show what he can do.

I also wasn't wrong about Maxime raynaud before the draft and in a season or two Hansen yang will shine.

Now, I will throw out some names that the suns could look at in the second round at positions of need.

    Ruben chinyelu- center

    Baba miller- power forward/ center

    Joshua jefferson- power forward

    Tounde yessofou- shooting guard

    Dash Daniel's- wing defender

    Oscar wembanyama- small forward.

Right now most if not all are projected second round picks potentially in the suns range.

  3. He’s not kawhi. Kawhi is small forward and Fleming is a power forward. They play 2 different positions . Stephen Fleming IS NOT a teeener or small forward!!! He’s a legit power forward! Taller and heavier than kawhi! Quit saying he’s a tweezer. Cos he’s not

  4. Something that stands out to me is that he is able to be such a good helpside defender too. Bc of his length and size and quickness, he has about a half foot to a foot of leeway that he can give up on help while still being able to get out and effect a shooter
