More mock drafts to keep you and me sane until draft night.

  1. Would’ve preferred Derrick Moore over Skyler Bell in the 3rd but overall this would be a super solid draft.

  2. I hope we don’t reach for someone because of need. We also need someone who’s going to be ready to impact the game sooner rather than later because we’re in our championship window. I hope Mesidor falls to us.

  3. Overall solid, fills depth where needed and I’m assuming taking BPA first 3 picks with how Matt generally operates.

  4. I sure don’t love that draft. Clemson was a dumpster fire this year and none of their players really stood out as anything special IMO

  5. Greg Gabriel keeps saying they are not going DT early. Theyve made their moves there in FA and like their options internally. Hes not a perfect source but he isnt stupid. (OK he may be stupid)

I personally expect a huge effort to trade down, and then get EDGE, S OR Corner, and BPA of S/CB/ DT/WR/OT/C/LB in their first 3-4 picks

  6. Others know waaaaaaay more than me, so my opinion is worth about 1 Zimbabwe dollar in November 2008… but I don’t love the “Woods didn’t live up to his potential” quote for a first rounder.

  7. Don’t really think Miller’s intel last year has any bearing on mocks at this point in the process; most of the credible insight on team preferences comes much closer to the actual draft

  8. Never a fan of taking a guy who people believe will be a better pro than college player after not living up to expectations at the college level. Especially with a 1st round pick.

  9. I like the positions we take but sometimes not the player. There’s 2-3 players I’d prefer over Haulcy for example but it’s a solid draft.

  10. Meh. Looks like obvious choices for the first theee and then it’s anyone s guess. I would take an edge much earlier. This whole narrative that losing Nashon is a huge deal is hilarious to me. The guy can not cover one on one. 🐻⬇️

  11. Its obvious some of you don’t actually watch college football, Woods is terrible. Nfl level o-linemen are going to eat him alive.

    AJ is a good pick

Malik is good too but not sure we need a CB in the 2nd round

  12. Isn’t Jack Kelly that lawyer with huge hands?

  13. Dude says, “Didn’t live up to his potential.” For guy he mocked to the first round? No thanks.

  14. “Scouts believe he will be a better pro than college player”

That is the most insane take I’ve ever heard.

  15. i find it hard to believe they’ll come out of this draft without a new o lineman

  16. I hate practically every option at 25 unless Thieneman falls.

I hope they somehow trade out of the 1st.

  17. I’d walk away from this one pretty happy tbh, and it’s all very reasonable in terms of where guys seem to be projected.

As a UConn fan it’d be fun to have Bell, and he’s solid.

I like shoring up the secondary with both of our 2nds.

Reiger is an interesting EDGE choice at 129 over some other names that could be there like maybe an Anthony Lucas or a Max Llewellyn, but at that point it’s very much a matter of personal taste.

We’d also walk away without an understudy C for Bradbury, but if that’s the worst outcome of the draft and we feel great about the rets of what we walk away with, not the hugest huge concern.

  18. I’ll never believe the “he didn’t live up to his potential in college, but he’ll be a better pro” excuse.

  19. Makes a ton of sense really. I dont see them going WR on day 2, but it is a deep class. Id bet they go run stop DL instead. Its deep on the edge for that.

Woods seems like the early favorite, but I have a hard time believing he gets to 25 if there are no concerns besides 2025 production.

  20. I’ve seen the “I can’t believe the Bears let Wright go” take creep into the national conversation a couple times over the last week. Genuinely surprising to me. Obviously no other team thought that highly of his work either. Dude was BBQ chicken if he wasn’t picking it off.
