  1. Wes and David are far too rigid in their views. Every discussion ends in the same place ( directly or indirectly): the coach stays, Bam Adebayo is untouchable, and the only path forward is trading for a superstar. Their logic rests on the idea that Miami is the “Lakers of the East,” a franchise that can rely on star power and the allure of Miami Beach. When a fan asked whether the Heat could follow a Boston‑style path—improving without tanking or chasing stars—they dismissed it. The options were laid out clearly: trade a core player like Bam for draft capital, follow the Spurs’ model of protecting the legacy until it’s time to reset, or land a superstar. and just like the Spurs you wait too long you have Bam they had Derozen; Wes and David inevitably circle back to the superstar fantasy. The truth is the Heat culture they praise is fading, and the more sustainable solution is investing in young talent that can be molded, not waiting for a Giannis‑level miracle. It is not a well ran organization. Comparing yourselves to Washington and New Orleans is low. Compare yourselves to the Celtics, OKC, SAS, NYK (wow) organizations you assume you are as well run as they are.

  2. Miami still trying to stand on Jimmy's shoulders. Those finals runs are JIMMY'S not yours. All bus riders thinking there bus drivers. Now i see blind leading the blind. Spo with these bs grit toughness fishbowl eyed speaches. Fake 83 point PLANNED manipulative weak games. Tyler weak ass tough guy acts. SOFT!!

  3. Since Houston Bam has shot 22% from the field going 4 for 30 from 3 and a minus defender but you guys still think he's a top 5 player. Instead blame Tyler for everything.

  4. Realistically Wes, for the heat, 'taking a step back' means a 9/10 team to maybe a 10/11 team? This team is so mid we want either a rebuild or a solid playoff team. What we are now is pathetic.

  5. They say Pat Riley isn't the main guy in charge of decisions anymore. Can the ACTUAL GUY come out and do the press conferences and stuff instead. WE NEED TO HELD HIM ACCOUNTABLE.

  6. Look frankly imma say this…. This would’ve never happened if spo had a consistent line up, this would’ve of never happened if spo kept letting ware grow which makes no sense ware averaged 20 pt per game last year and was said to be the best rookie now all of a sudden growing pains keeps getting subbed isn’t allowed to start keeps blaming ware…. When we need him to play and start spo is the only coach in the league with no consistent line up this team started with no chemistry spo messes this team up if u look at the team the stats don’t lie individually we have a good team Matter of fact teams would kill to have alot of our players this is definitely a coaching thing having us undersized and underpowered to go against y teams always trynna match their power levels and he ain’t Goku cause atleast when Goku matches a mf power level he still beats them

  7. TONIGHTS game really is HUGE! AT HOME!!!! We need to flush that yesterday turd…quickly! Gotta feeling this ending to the reg season…for seeds 5-10 is going to get crazy!

  8. You have two non-defensive guards waiting for extensions then expect to get full effort and risk injury, this front office and coaching staff are not realistic, just play the young guys or the best defensive lineup. The league has changed and this team refuses to change with it.

  9. This 2 moron think the heat are in not basketball purgatory…. Dude they are those team you mention if they hit on the lottery pick they will change there destiny… while the heat are still punching in the air and wish somebody will save them edwards just sign his extension giannis will not want to go in a play in team luka will retire as a lakers and your insane if you think you will have a chance on jokic … You mention bam trade bro good luck nobody will want to pay bam contract 3yrs 153m for a player not even good to be a 2nd option

  10. You could say this is Pat Riley’s fault for being too conservative in free agency. There is not one true alpha male #1 option to close on this roster. This team needs a guy that can put the team on his back & will them to a victory. Something we have not had since Prime D Wade. Jimmy had his moments, but he only showed up in the post season.

  11. The zone and the switching defense is killing the team. Someone is always wide open in the zone and switching all leaves a small defending a big and Bams out on the perimeter with no one to block shots or rebound.

  12. David n wes full of shit spo dont call out players in front of the media yea kel ware smh but not surprised same guys that meat ride bam tyler n spo they can do no wrong like wtf smh

  13. David stupid asf fans not ready for 4 years of bad basketball if we let go of bam 😒 wtf we going though bad basketball now with bam been more then 4 years smh

  14. Bam was terrible. Defense is trash and not using bam for screens and open looks makes these small weak offensive players more terrible. Need to go back to getting in the mud and slow the pace down cause this fast pace is wearing them down.GO HEAT GO PAT GO SPO GO BAM GO HERRO.

  15. The Heat need to add more strong character vocal demanding people in the locker room. Add UD and Zo as assistants. Sign J Crowder to a veteran minimum. He'd be 36 next year, but as a would-be-in-shape NBA guy, can still fill in as a third tier 3 and D guy in a pinch, in addition to his locker room leadership. Spo may be elite in the tactical X's and O's, but is less than mediocre in getting players to be consistent. They need to surround him with people to compensate for that weakness. Riley was among the greatest of all time because of the way he got everyone to play like desperate Mo Fo's on a consistent basis, despite being more basic in X's and O's. Trade Herro for sure, the weak link in the defensive chain, and too redundant with Powell. Can't have both guys. Best chance to trade for a star is on draft night where expiring contracts can be included (to facilitate) one week before they expire and possibly including 2026 draftee (among three other available picks) for the right star.

  16. the last 3 season , this team is always a playin team , they don't have a go to player to lead them for a win every game , the last player Butler was the kind of player i'm talking about . he took the team on his back to the finals short bubble season w/ no one to back him up and they lost to Lakers . he again took the team to the finals against Nuggets but the team does not have enough go to player to help him . The management needs is so mediocre to get the chance a go to player after the Wade , Shaq , Zo , and the 2 title and 4 consecutive final appearance w/ again a go to player name lebron , bush and wade and sorrounded by the name of Miller , Battier , and Ray Allen , ….. now they need to tanked and rebuild. Look at the likes f Pacers , built around Haliburton , Knicks w/ Brunson , Towns .? check out the Pistons w/ cade Cunningham or the former tanked team , and the defending champ W/ SGA and young talents . ………Tanked this team now and stop fantasizing winning a 7th game 1st rd . coming from the playin . ……Gone are the Butler and the go to guy type players

  17. The narrative now being put out by some local sports media is Spo has lost the locker room…We keep hearing this team's talent is way better than their record…Is it though?…If so why haven't we been able to make a trade??…Or rather is it the reality that this team has over performed without Jimmy

  18. All jokes aside, I think this team gets a bit too nervous when their backs are against the wall. They do need a couple of veteran dog voices. I thought Chris Paul would be good for that. A one year would have been good enough, but maybe the salary didnt workout for CP.

  19. there definitely has to be a disconnect between the players and coaching/front office. the team plays with a total lack of effort at times and plays out their minds at others

    • riley saying there will be aggressive changes after the historic playoff loss and that amounted to nothing. it was reported that the heat KNEW giannis wasn’t being moved a day before the deadline and they made no other pivot moves

    • the treatment of ware has to be irritating to the guys. yes he makes mistakes, no he is not perfect, but no one on the roster is. there is no reason your young 7 foot stretch 5 lob threat big should be playing less than TERRY ROZIER WHO WAS GAMBLING AGAINST HIS OWN TEAM. and of course ware is gonna look disinterested and lazy when he’s punished and benched after playing great (see the cavs game on the 25th and then every game after that)
