- He tried to stay engaged in the second when he only got a few shifts due to having to serve his fighting major followed by a lot of special teams.
Fox
- The entire team would love to see Igor get a goal. He thinks Igor will get a goal one day.
- They’re focused on playing a game they can be proud of for the rest of the season.
- Any time someone fights, it gets guys more engaged.
- The young guys are "bringing great energy” to the locker room. When Garand is net, they want to play well in front of him.
- Fortescue “has been real steady…he’s fit in seamlessly.”
Sheary
- They got better as the game went on. They started playing with the intentions and intensity they needed in the second half of the game.
- “Igor is arguably the best goalie in the league.” He makes difficult saves look easy. He gives them a chance to win every night. No one in the organization takes him for granted.
- Role players getting goals helps build momentum and it helps to have a balanced attack. Jaro had a really good game.
- Laba had a good first game back. He brings size and speed to the lineup.
- “I don’t think there’s any doubt” that Syky can maintain his level of enthusiasm. “It’s hard not to like that guy…I don’t think he’s ever had a bad day in his life.”
- Karye and Sheary “are high motor guys” which allows “JT to play that down low game that I think he excels at.”

Did Igor come close to scoring last game, or was that just a random question?
Even though the team is lacking a bit on offensive talent, the bottom six is rounding out very nicely for the future. Kartye has been a very good fit and making the most out of a fresh opportunity. Good chemistry with Laba.
