Same shit every year, been worse since Jimmy gone though because I was never really afraid of seeding since Jimmy had that dawg in him but I don’t know how many more seasons I can take “play-in champs” and getting first rounded.

  4. Sadly we can’t miss the playoffs (play-in), but I’m hoping we end as 10 seed and lose to the sixers in game1 and be done with it.

    But knowing this team we’re going to get hot and go on a crazy winning streak to end the season and end up as 6/7 seed.

Push FO into actually committing to analyzing the roster and seeing what works and what doesn’t, rather than this “oh we’re competitive when we’re healthy” bullshit we’ve heard for how many years now. It don’t even need to be pick number 1 the Heat get, just some stroke of luck that slots us in the Top 5 will work plenty.

  19. I agree with Barry. There is NO reason Atlanta and Toronto should be above play in but not us. It’s deeper than just talent and someone needs to explain it. We have 3 all stars from the past couple seasons and a metric ton of depth including a 6moty candidate and multiple high level role players that play both sides of the ball well. Injuries have been an issue but same with most teams. There is an elephant in the room and nobody wants to address it

  20. i can see 2 things happening: either heat go 6-1 in the last 7 only to lose the play-in; or heat go 1-6 and heat win their way into the 8 seed

  23. We need to end the under 10% bf rule. Most men are actually at their athletic peak between 10 to 20 % very few people perform at their best below that and it would actually help them be less tired and injured.

  24. Posting the standings is normally a curse and we always lose the next game every time it’s posted in here. But.. that’s the desired result…so oh well

  30. Tired? TIRED? Man this team just went to the finals 3 years ago. After a stretch where they went to the finals 2 times in 4 years, and were just a few points away from making it 3.

    There are teams that havent been to the PLAYOFFS at all in longer stretches of time. 75% of the league has spent longer stretches of time out of the finals than we have. The Kings havent been to a finals since Harry S. Truman was president, and he’s been dead for 54 years.

  33. Where are all the Heat roster believers now?? I want to hear them speak up as loud as they did this offseason. We are so unbelievably mid. And no I don’t hate herro or bam or anyone. We just not good enough to compete without any major shakeup.
