THAT’S MY (non) SHOOTER!
bUt hE cAnT shOoT!!
Top ten with 3 Hawks. Love to see it.
Dys so nice
Yeah that’s not surprising
…wait… does that say OFFENSIVE rating?!
Given he’s playing All-NBA defense against the other team’s best backcourt scorer, doesn’t that mean he’s the best player in the league right now?
Doing it at 23 with a meme 3pt shot. Still a lot of room to grow.
It’s the makeup of the team. If OO weren’t hitting three’s, the lane would be clogged. Everyone can hit three’s, CJ, Jalen, NAW, OO. If Dyson went to a team without this makeup, his offense would take a nosedive.
He has to hit three’s, Jalen would even be better if Dyson would hit his three pointers.
Really love the way the hawks use him. He just creates chaos whenever he drives. Fast enough and strong enough to deal with defenders even without a good 3pt shot
His floater is looking like Trae’s when we went on the ECF run

I’d love to see him add a midrange bank shot, a midrange in your face ala Vinnie Johnson pullup J, the reverse layup driving the baseline, and more frequently used floater in the paint,
Wait, there are 3 Hawks in that top ten. Caa caaaaw!
His ceiling is Scottie Pippin. Been saying this, there are a lot of similarities.
I felt like I was going through psychosis some months ago when there was a whole thread on this sub calling Daniels absolutely useless on offense. Made him sound like a Thybulle/Roberson type of player just because he can’t shoot
If the jumper ever comes around he is a perennial allstar
He is automatic in the paint… his floater looks like Trae’s old one
Dyson with even a slightly below league average 3PT% is going to be an absolute menace.
A threat on both ends of the court. Watch out league, especially come playoff time
People need to stop conflating the idea of two-way players as either just a good defender who can shoot 35% from 3 or a great offensive player who isn’t a sieve on defense. Daniels is clearly a two way player who wins you games on both ends of the floor but can’t hit an open 3.
He has a top tier floater
A twitter post told me he was bad though! And I watched zero games to confirm before spreading the hate!
I defended Dyson’s offense with facts and stats in an r/nba thread and got downvoted to oblivion by lakers flares just repeating the one thing they knew. But his 3p% on 1 attempt per game!
Thank you, New Orleans Pelicans. If we got herb instead of this guy we would just have a 27 year old version of Risacher to pair with 21 year old version of Risacher
