  1. It took 19 minutes until you brought up the Adam Engstrom "move" from the Laval Rocket. Most viewers are not going to stick around that long to find out what your "surprise" is about. 😮

  2. Guys, I love you but lets not go total 'fanboy'. As my oldest brother says, goaltending is voodoo. Dobes has a .922 SV% in his last 10 but he threw in a .778 and .857 in there against SJ. He does seem to be playing with more confidence, his rebound control is much better though the team is also doing better collapsing to clear them. We haven't seen a 'oopsy' goal in 5 games which is the most important part. Look around, even the worst goalies make fantastic saves, its the weak ones that mostly undoes them. I'm old enough to have actually watched the best Habs goalies, starting with Dryden, through Price. Fowler still looks like the most promising but maybe his calmness is rubbing off on Dobe as he's standing tall and aggressively attacking the shot, he doesn't seem to be flailing nearly as much. But way too small a sample size to suggest he's going to keep up this level of play. Also Arber isn't playing forward as a standard thing, that was an emergency situation, just because there are those that would drop their panties for him doesn't mean he's cut out for this team. Still watching Staal park his but in front of the net with no one able to move him suggests to me Arber could be that D-guy that plays big in front of the net. With all that said, I think we have a team that can win a 7 game series against any team in the league, still some stuff to clean up. We need to play a full 60 minutes, figure out a way to stop the cycle way faster, and we still need to be tougher. I've said it before I'll say it again, stick Anderson or Bolduc on that 2nd line, its "ok" right now but with a bigger body, especially someone with the speed of Anderson I think that 2nd line would play SERIOUS havoc on the opposition.

  3. I knew Engstrom would get called up to try him with Hutson instead of Struble. Struble is just not a top 4 guy and does not look good with Hutson. I called this a couple days ago.

  4. Without Monty mucking up things and having 2 good young goalies playing really good and if Engstrom can replace Struble and help Hutson then we will be fire in the playoffs.

  5. I have said it before and I will say it again we need Arber on the 4th line in the playoffs where he can wear down their D. Just like Wilson did to us last year. Keep the faith and Go Habs Go!

  6. Dobes for RoY. I already noted this a couple of games ago and he has only raised his profile over the last 2 games. He doesn't even have to keep up the >.930 SV% he has over the last 5 games. Just .910 to .920, with 9 games left, he'll get 6 or 7 of those. He'll end up with close to the top 10 in SV%, GAA and wins. As you guys noted, the only reason he isn't getting more love on this right now is people don't think of him as a rookie. Goalie is FAR harder than defense, so I don't care how good Shaefer has been, Dobes is putting up serious numbers, if he finishes this way he should be a top contender.

  7. Come on people. All this talk about Arber at forward is crazy. He was pretty much lost out there positionally. If he was to convert to LW or RW he would need quite a bit of time to be serviceable. He's not beating out any of the top 12 forwards right now

  8. I don’t think it’s for carrier. He’s playing to good it’s for Struble. To play right side Sonoran can play left.

  9. Arber played 5 min, and was pinned in his zone for 3 of them, because of 2 turnovers he had in his end 😂🤣😂🤣 hard pass 🎉
