Honestly, if Ty Simpson and his people were smart, they would not even want Ty to come to the Browns. He definitely will not outperform Shedeur or Deshaun in training camp. I doubt he'll even outperform DG. They probably need to find a desperate team like the Jets or Cardinals. People think the Browns are desperate. However, they have a lot of their moving parts already in place. I think the Browns are willing to give up some picks because they have no reason to pick later on in the draft. We only need one or two more OLINE players, maybe a DLINE player for depth, and 2-3 Receivers. With us having 11 total picks, it makes no sense to use all of them and max out the remaining cap space.
