Why Joe Flacco Contract Structure Could Mean Bengals Will Make More Moves

The Cincinnati Bengals used two void years on Joe Flacco’s 1-year deal, reducing his 2026 cap hit by nearly $2.7 million. Why would they do that?

Jake Liscow and James Rapien break down how exactly the Bengals structured Flacco’s deal, and why it could be an indicator that another modest veteran addition could come after the draft when free agents no longer impact compensatory picks.

Plus, as Katie Blackburn isn’t talking this week at the owner’s meetings, the guys discuss the optics and wonder when she will be made available to answer questions.

  1. I'm saying if none of the Defensive players aren't there in draft Bengals need to for McCoy there is nothing wrong with that guy. I seen his workouts n I've not seen a guy move much faster then that. He is a clear cut choice in my book

  2. Brown family should not be owning any team in NFL period.. When you can't win SB for 58 yrs with same owner, there is obvious ownership issues
Also glassman Burrow should be restructured..

  3. If the FO is serious about building out the roster, the solution is still there if the FO is serious. Restructure Joe Burrow. Katie not appearing just shows how tone deaf the FO is to fans and the media.

  4. The 10th pick is expensive. They will probably trade back to get more picks and draft KMac in the first. They’ve met with him, Kilgore, Landon Johnson, T Stukes. That’s probably their first 4 picks and Golday with that extra pick, then Royer, Coogan, Micah Morris.

  5. Any thoughts to the idea that they may have hand shake deals for after the draft, and have chosen not to announce them to keep "needs" more questionable for.the draft?
