Manning at 131 in 3 years is just so absurd. Nix has played very well, and he’d still have to throw 77 in year three to equal that production.
Well he did have one of the best first two years by a QB in league history. So this is not surprising at all.
He’s also already tied for 226th All-time for QBs after 2 seasons.
I can’t believe Griese threw that many TDs. It sure didn’t seem like it at the time.
Why not second?
He may not be the best QB or even top 5 in the league rn, but he’s exactly who we need.

Griese having the same number of TDs as Plummer seems crazy to me. Had to go look up his stats. Forgot he was the starter here for 4 years. Before looking, i figured it was only two. I was a younger fan back then so that period is a little foggy remembering wise.
His second year starting looked pretty promising.

Cutler’s number is shocking to be honest. I thought it was much more than that.
At the time Elway retired, he was like 3rd or 4th all time in passing TD’s and yards. Marino was ahead of him in both and the only one over 60k yards, and I’m too lazy too look up who else.
Insane how the passing era completly changed in the following decades.
He’ll take 3rd place in his 3rd season. Seems fitting. Dude definitely deserves it.
