Evan Mobley feasted tonight in a very tough win over the Jazz on the road. At times he may not have high numbers but if he is given the touches and opportunities he’s proven time and again that he can put up points and grab rebounds with the best of them.

Over his last ten games he’s averaged:

– 22 points per game

– 10.9 rebounds per game

And he’s doing it shooting 66% from the floor in that span, meaning he’s taking high quality shots in the paint, something he’s not done well at times this year.

He gets a lot of hate but deserves a ton of credit for nights like tonight.

  1. Mobley knows how to take advantage of lesser players. Utah had no answer inside and it got worse when Flip was out

  2. He’s been playing great recently. He needs to be this kind of threat night in and night out. He is paid to have this impact every single game. Maybe not 34 points but he should be a 24 point 12 rebound guy. He has it in him.

  3. Yep. 22.0/10.9/3.4 on an average of 31.3mpg. I’ve mentioned several times he averaged 22/11/4 per 36 last year and that got him named 2nd Team All-NBA. This 10gm stretch is closer 24/12/4 per 36. He’s looked terrific and clearly benefits from
Harden just as JA does. Harden is remarkable at getting the ball inside.
